QT-ESL 55 Pronouncing Verbs in the Simple Past Tense-Exercises
This podcast is a follow-up on QT-ESL 54. It provides practice with the pronunciation of the simple past tense using some very useful verbs.
If you want to become really good at English, you must perfect your pronunciation—you should learn to pronounce words according to their grammatical and phonetic groupings. Here you are asked to give, in the blanks provided, the simple past tenses of verbs ending in "ed" or "d". You can check your work against the right answer. I am including the chart of these verbs in the PDF below.
These are interactive exercises for you to speak according to the instructions given. Remember these exercises may seem trivial in written form, but doing them orally without the script is not such an easy task.
