Fraud and Lies on eDreams Site
Don’t buy flights on the eDreams Site
Sept. 14, 2015
This is to alert people NOT to use the eDreams site. I went on it by mistake (listed first on Google) and took one of their so-called bargain flights to Stockholm with Easyjet. I should instead have visited EasyJet directly. Edreams claimed it was the cheapest flight available (“special offer”), but it was more expensive than the same flight (same day and time) on the EasyJet site.
Worst of all I received two emails with a bill of sale for €129, and eDreams withdrew €169 from my bank account. Furthermore, the bill of sale is incomprehensible with €20 for currency conversion, and for the payment they indicated a client’s name and bank number, which are NOT mine! There is no email address to eDreams, and it costs to call them so I prefer just to alert possible clients.
I advise you to stay away from eDreams and other similar sites. Go directly to the companies you are interested in. Consult these sites for ideas but nothing more. I will never trust them ever again and think they should refund the difference for principle’s sake.
